California Fit Body #1

No Equipment. No Excuses! Finally! My first exercise routine for my California Fit Body blog. Here’s a routine that requires no equipment and very little space. I created this workout for my hotel room. I spend a lot of time in hotel rooms when I’m traveling for work. I don’t always have a ton of time or motivation to workout when I’m out of my normal routine. HIIT and Tabata style workouts are perfect because they’re quick and super effective. HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. Basically, it’s a combination of high and low intensity exercises paired together. Tabata training is 2o seconds bursts of activity followed by 10 seconds of rest repeated for 4 minutes. For this workout, I used a combination of these styles. Repeat each exercise for 50 seconds and rest of 10 seconds. 1 round equals 12 exercises and 12 minutes. If you’re more conditioned repeat the whole routine 2-3 times. Do yourself a favor and download an interval timer on your phone. I use a free version. Use the HIIT timer function. Set it for 12 rounds. 10 seconds of rest. 50 seconds of work. Trophy life in progress. Join in! Was this workout out hard enough for you trophy lifers? Tell me about it!! FOLLOW me on Pinterest & LIKE my Facebook page to stay motivated all week....
