About | My Trophy Life

trophy \ˈtrō-fē\ + life \ˈlīf\

: a life experienced as a sequence of personal victories that enhance self-esteem & prestige

“Changing the way you eat, changes the way you think. And changing the way you think is how you change your life.”

My goal is to upgrade your life.

To encourage and inspire you to blast through mediocre thoughts, up your standards, and express your full potential.

To cultivate a mindset that values your health above all else.

To understand that what you put in your mouth effects the way your body looks and your mind works. That those choices are a reflection of the value you place on yourself.

I’m here to empower.

Through nutrition advice, fitness tips and personal development skills. Expect strategies, recipes, workouts, challenges, goals and non-stop motivation the only way I know how to do it….with a lot of humor and a little attitude.

About | Heather May

honest + bold + rebel

I do my best work when I’m helping you accomplish yours.

My nutrition philosophy is simple….Food Is Everything!
It can please, satisfy, console, comfort, and entertain. It can heal or harm the body. The best foods are simple and grow in the ground. Optimal health is best achieved by embracing a plant based diet.

I’m a healthy lifestyle enthusiast & fitness junkie.

I’m not a dietitian, a saint, or a perfectionist. I’m a work in progress…but aren’t we all.

I like to think of myself as a modern day domestic goddess. Think Martha Stewart with a rebellious twist. I might not craft or clean as much but I do rock in the kitchen and kick ass in the gym.

I’m obsessed with home decor…and HGTV. I could spend all my money on pillows…and lamps. I get giddy in a hardware store, I blame my carpenter father.

I think it’s sexy to take care of your body, to eat whole foods, to sweat every day, to keep a clean house, and to always strive to be the best possible version of yourself.

My background is in nutritional science, culinary arts, group and personal fitness.

Yes, I do have credentials. I studied nutrition at the University of Missouri. I completed an internship with Cooper Fitness Center, an industry leader in preventive medicine and an authority on healthy living. I was a tier 3 personal trainer at Equinox, one of the hottest fitness brands in America. I also completed the culinary program at Le Cordon Bleu in Hollywood, California. And I’m always going to keep upping my game.

But that’s not why I do what I do. I do it because I care what people are eating. It makes me crazy to see smart women putting stupid things in their bodies. I do it because I can relate. I’ve been frustrated and mislead. I do what I do because I know it can make a difference in your life.

Food and fitness are my passions.

I have been a fixture in the kitchen since before I was 5. The kitchen is my happy place.

Fitness has been a part of my life since I was kid. Beyond my childhood fantasy of being an Olympic gymnast, I took my first step aerobics class in the sixth grade and it changed my life. Seriously! I LOVED everything about it. I started to frequent group fitness classes and amassed an impressive VHS collection…Abs of Steel, Buns of Steel….you name it, I had it.

As soon as I could, I started teaching group fitness. Water aerobics, boot camps, spin classes, run clubs, & even a Kangoo Jumps class (they’re crazy and fun, just Google it). I feel at home when I’m teaching. It’s one of the most rewarding things I do.

I work with women who want it all & aren’t willing to let their bodies pay the price.
